Started by the Gouvernement of Canada in 1988 and is now managed  by TerraChoise Environmental Marketing Inc. North America's most recognized and respected environmental certification mark.

 Green Seal

Green Seal

Founded in 1989 Green Seal is an independent non-profit organization. Green Seal promotes the manufacture, purchase and use of environmentally responsible products and services.




Green-e Certified

Green-e is the leading independent certification and verification program for the use of renewable energy resources. Companies purchase Green-e credits in amounts equal to electricity used to manufacture an order.


Biogas Energy

Bio-gas generated from the decomposition of waste buried at landfill site is captured and transported through a pipeline to the paper mill where it is converted to energy and used to power the mill.


Manufactured with Windpower

Windpower is one of the most ecenomical sources of electricity. Wind turbines use less than 5% of the land thereby minimizing habitat destruction, preserves space and allows for multiple uses of land such as agricultural farming.


Carbon Neutral

Carbon neutral describes products, operations and activities which have their emissions calculated and reduced where possible. Remaining carbon emissions are offset through credits that fund renewable emission-free energy projects.



Post-consumer Recycled

Post-consumer recycled content is finished material made from paper that has been used by consumers. Post-consumer comes from the blue recycling bins. Only office waste can be used to make fine paper.
